Change Accounting date

I have a requiremente where my cliente has 2 ledgers and in one of the ledgers I need to change the accounting date for AR transactions in GL, I think to create a trigger in GL_INTERFACE table but in R12 the accountings from AR and AP is not recording in this table, looks that the accounting process is creating dynamic tables called xla_glt_... where "..." is a numeric sequence so is not possible to make a customization on it as it is created dynamically. Any one has any ide or had a similar requirement?
