Netpoint Connecter Log Has Blank Lines

We are using version 10.1.4.2.4 of the netpoint connector.  The log file it generates is inserting a lot of blank or null characters in to the log file.  It is also truncating our file and putting the data in non-chronological order.  Has anyone else seen this happen?
