Exchange rate date

Hi,

I'd appreciate a clairification on the following: assuming to have EUR as functional currency and exchange rate type = 'SPOT', if I enter today a sales order using a USD price list and the shipping occurs onli in 10 days, wiill the exchange rate be the one of sales order creation or sales order shipment?
