Depreciation using Sum of Digits Methods

I have an asset.

Cost: 100

Life: 8 years.

Using the next formula:

1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8= 36

año 1

8 / 36 *(100) = $ 22.22  annual.  Monthly would be 22.22/12 = 1.85.  However, in the Application, the depreciation in the first month is 1.48... Why????  How to obtain this result???
