Oracle 11i E-Business Suite Application Server Migration Step

EBS version: 11.5.10.2

DB version: 10.1.0.4

OS: Solaris ver 9

Node 1:

DB, Concurrent Manager, Admin Server, Report Server, Technology Stack (8.0.6, iAS)

Node 2:

Web Server, Forms Server, Shared APPL_TOP & COMMON_TOP from Node 1 via NFS.  Technology Stack (8.0.6, iAS)

Node 3:

Web Server, Forms Server (load balance with Node 2), Shared APPL_TOP & COMMON_TOP from Node 1 via NFS.  Technology Stack (8.0.6, iAS)

Node 2 and Node 3 will be replaced by different servers with same platform (Solaris version 10).  (Testing has been carried out with no issue).

Since /u02 (APPL_TOP) and /u03 (COMMON_TOP) are shared from Node 1, we shall not copy APPL_TOP & COMMON_TOP.  But only Technology Stack (8.0.6 & iAS) will be copied from backup set.
