Add New entry on Controls Payables Period

Hi,

   Just want to ask how will i able to add a new entry on the Cotrols Payables Period?

    Example: MAr-12 was in never opened status  and i want to add a APR-12 in Payables Period.

   Is adding a new entry is automated?
