Creating Customized Grip - P09201 Account Inquiry by Object

I'm attempting to create a customized grid of the P09201 and would like it to sequence by GL Date.

When I first go in to create the grid, under Data Sequencing, the GL Date does appear in the Sequenced Column.  I move this to the top and remove the Ascending check mark.  I click OK and then close.

When I go back into the customized grid, the GL date no longer appears in the Sequenced Column.

Is this a bug or is there a ready why JDE is not allow me to sequence by this date?
