12c job executions - Suspend Job with repeating schedule - creates Failed runs,

Setup a RMAN Script job for 2 targets.  Scheduled this job to run every 10 minutes.
After a few runs, I have clicked Suspend.  Job was marked Suspended.  However, new executions occurred at the scheduled times and the status was marked Problems vs Skipped as documented.

  • Suspend jobs —

    You can suspend individual executions or entire jobs. For example, you may need to suspend a job if a needed resource was unavailable, or the job needs to be postponed.

    If a job is scheduled to repeat but is suspended past the scheduled repeat time, the execution of this job would be marked "Skipped."
