Solaris 11 Server unable to Join Windows 2008 Domain

Installed Solaris 11 from the "Oracle Solaris 11 11/11 Live Media for x86" download. Unfortunately, the smb/server package isn't installed by default.

Performed the following from the base install.

Installed smb/server package and started the service

  - Tried the smbadm join -u username domain_name.com and it failed so I verified the following and it still fails.

  - Verified that the krb5.conf file was correct... Verified it against a working Solaris Express system.

  - DNS is setup correctly.  That is more challanging now.  Verified it could lookup domain controllers.

  - Time is accurate.  Performed ntpdate to update it to domain controller's time.

Howdy, Stranger!
