MES Exceptions

Does anyone know how to access open exceptions on completed discrete jobs from the MES. Users have the ability to complete jobs, even though there is an open exception. Once the job is completed the exception no longer shows on the Supervisor Dashboard. We need to be able to access these so they can be closed properly, or prevent users from closing jobs that have open exceptions.
