consolidating using RDD window

Hi, I would like to get some advice if possible on how anyone handles this situation presented to us.
We have a vendor submitting orders via EDI with an RDD (Requested Delivery Date) window. Let's say we have 3 orders dropping at different times (say a day apart) with same RDD. Is there a way for OTM to find out when is the latest date and time an order can ship? We'd like to hold an order as long as possible to possibly consolidate and save on shipping cost. Another consideration is transport mode since different transport mode has different routing and transit times.
