Task Create Workflow Expression

I currently have a workflow in place on the Lead page and it is working properly with this expression: [<plCall_Attempt_ITAG>] = "1"

If the Call Attempt picklist is selected to 1, then it auto creates a task and marks it completed with the current date/time

The same would happen if selecting 2, or 3 for Call Attempt

However, how do we prevent this from occuring again if the Call Attempt field is changed from 3 to 1 by accident?

I dont want it to create another Call Attempt 1 task if there was already one existing

Can anyone assist me with this?
