Report Manager Templates

We are in the process of upgrading from 11i to R12 and also moving away from ADI Client to Report Manager to publish FSG reports.  We currenly have over 80 Themes that we use to ADI Client.  A report manager template will need to be created for each of these when we go live in R12.  Many of the reports have the same row set but different column sets (some column sets are the same except one is PTD Acutal and the other is QTD Actual).  Are there any tricks to make creating the templates faster?
