Filesystem block size

Hi,
Could anybody guide or provide any docs on the behaviour of filesystem block size & database block size.

Need to understand the performance impact for the below settings

1) DB Block 8K and OS 1K
2) OS 8K and DB 1K
3) DB 8K and OS 8K
4) OS 1K and DB 1K
