Upload Item Onhand quantity and Cost through API

Hello

I want to upload item on hand quantity and cost through API. Process enabled inventory does not giving unit cost of item, while uploading with transaction (miscell. recipt). can you please tell me there is any orher way to upload there data.(Raw material and Finishe good items).

This is for opening blance purpose.
