Java exports results in 0 bytes

When trying to export admin data, such as roles, privs, etc, I often (very often) get an export with zero bytes. It seems random but if an, for example Role 123, exports at zero bytes it always behaves the same way. The randomness is, for example, which role exports with data, not that the same role sometimes will and sometimes won't export with data.
