Pegging Infroamtion: How to get it.

Hello, I am calling MRP_ATP_PUB.Call_ATP to populate scheduling temp tables and then I pull pegging info from those tables.However API takes a while to finish and users are making performance related complains. Is there any other way to get the pegging info.
