Migration to Linux from HP-UX Document 238276.1

Migrating to Linux with Oracle Applications Release 11i Document 238276.1


My current configuration is Hp-UX (11.11) Single tier
E-Business suite 11.5.9
Oracle Database 9.2.0.8.0

I have to move from HP-UX to Oracle Enterprise Linux 4 or 5 quickly. Can I do this with 11.5.9 or am I required to upgrade to 11.5.10.2 prior to using the migration tool?

I'm confused because in Document 238276.1 in section 1 "Prerequisites" in sub section 1. "Verify OS Requirements on Target system" - in the RELEASE NOTES version 11.5.10.2 is mentioned (see below)

Must be completed prior to using the migration utility.

Section 1: Prerequisites

Prepare the Source System before migrating to a new platform. If the System is installed using multi nodes, the following prerequisite steps must be performed on all nodes.
