Switch from Vertex Q Series to EBTax?

 We're currently running ebs 11.5.10.2 and integrating with Vertex Q series for tax calculation. I'd like to know if it's possible to get away from a 3rd party tax supplier and just use the EBTax information out of the box. Is that possible or do we still need a 3rd party tax vendor to supply us with the US tax rates and jurisdictions?
