Unable to uncheck the Global check box in Contract Agreement.

Hi,Why I'm not able to uncheck the Global check box on a contract purchase agreement[CPA]?
I Created CPA from core apps forms and tried to uncheck the global flag when the document is in Incomplete and Approved statuses but no luck.
Please advise
