First Ever Disk Replacement

Does anyone know of a step by step command sequence to replace disk c0t0d0 under Solaris 10 (SPARC)? Also is there any of telling if the disk replacement was successful and has been re-mirrored correctly? The last thing I want is to reboot the server and for it not to come back up.
