How to setup sourcing rule to map DC vs Plant requirement

Hi All

We are looking for some help to correctly define the sourcing rule to map our situation and planning requirement. We currently have 2 internal inventory organizations; one (A) is the distribution center and the other one (B) is a plant.

All our finished goods are make items and manufactured in plant (B). However, once manufactured they are transferred ( inventory transfer) to distribution center (A). Distribution center(B) receives the sales orders from our customers and distributors and ship the material to end clients.

Right now, we dont have sourcing rule defined!

Hence, the demand ( sales orders, forecast) are always on DC (A) and ASCP doesnt suggest any planned order for plant (B). For all these make items, we have defined source organization as plant (B) at item attribute level. Hence we only get planned order demand in plant(B).

Howdy, Stranger!
