Asset Capitalisaton what is intended functionality

Hi,

can anyone confirm the expected result for this scenario

1. Capital project

3. single asset defined with complete details & assigned at project level

3. Grouped by expenditure category

4. cost allocation is current cost

5. 3 x capitalisable expenditure lines (= 3 exp categories)

6. generate asset lines creates 3 asset lines (as expected)

7. interface asset to FA creates 3 assets in FA

Expectation: only one asst assigned against the project only expecting one asset to be created not 3.

Question: Is this intended functionality or a bug?

Question: Client could possibly have grouped by expenditure types for a project with 1000s of lnes therefore generating 100s of asset lines, surely they cannot be expected to merge 100+ asset lines in the prepare mass additions form to create a single asset?

Howdy, Stranger!
