prevent cost fom interfacing to GL but want to calculate cost & revenue in Projects

Hi,

In Implementations options If we uncheck 'Interface cost to GL' checkbox and enable ' Interface Revenue to GL', will it allow us to cost for expenditure batches entered and can we generate revenue?

The idea is to calculate cost and generate revenue but not to interface cost to GL.

Please share your inputs on how we can achieve this.
