Status "Resolved With Solution"

Hi,

Can I ask what does the status "Resolved with Solution" means?

From a customer perspective, the meaning should be a service request is resolved if a fix is provided for that SR.

From Oracle's perspective, the meaning is fix is provided in the next release/version.

Example:

SR 3-4476331151

We did not receive any fix for this SR as the engineer has communicated that the fix will be provided in the next release.

I closed the SR with the option "Without Solution" as there was indeed no solution provided to us for that SR.

Why isn't there a status that indicates solution was not provided to customer?
