Std manager process die and hence unable to cancel the request

we have custom program catalog generation.It runs for about 2-4 hours.

manytimes it happens that managers to whom the requests are assigned dies off and when we try to cancel the requests it doesnt allow to cancel.there is no session information when checked in v$session and v$process.But fnd_concurrent_requests table show Running Normal.

how to deal with ths situation.
