Prorate Convention Issue

Hi Friends,

As per the client business requirement in Oracle Fixed Assets modules, When we place a Asset system will calculate the depreciation from that date itself. As per their requirement i have taken Prorate Convention Calendar as 365 periods. I tried to place an Asset in mid of period. But system calculated the depreciation of whole period. Can anyone guide me if i missed any setup's.Thanks in Advance.
