R12- Search by Customer/Account name gives incorrect/extract results

Hello,

When you search for a customer/account name in R12 the search results not only provides the customer name for which the search was done but also other records which I believe may be supplier

related records as with R12 they are also stored in HZ_PARTIES table. How do we restrict the search to display only customer related record
