How does the WIP parameter Propagate Job Change to PO work?

Hi All.
I want to know what is the exact behavior of the WIP parameter " Propagate Job Change to PO "
The observation have been made using a test case..

WIp parameter :Propagate Job Change to PO--Set to Automatic

1. 10995 PR status is ‘incomplete’ or ‘rejected’ --- PR changed automatically (make sense)
2. 10996 PR status is 'in process'; --- PR didn’t change (make sense)
3. 10997 /44466 PRstatus is 'approved'; and generated a PO and po status is 'incomplete' --- PO didn’t change (not make sense)
4. 10998 /44465 PR status is 'approved', and generated a PO and po status is 'in process'; --- PO didn’t change (make sense)
