RMAN deleting specific copies of a backupset
Hi,
I'm googling around but can't find a solution for my 'problem'.
We have configured our backup to backup to the recovery-area in ASM. After finishing this backup the backup is being copied to a filesystem due to redundancy.
This is done through the command backup backupset completed after 'sysdate-a few hours' to '/mnt/filesystem'.
Due to an error in the script this wasn't done after but before the sysdate minus a few hours. Resulting in multiple backupcopies of the same backup consuming a few terabyte of diskspace.
In the RMAN-docs I can't find a way to delete specific copies of a backupset.
