Open Configurator in Read-Only after order is closed

 We have a request from our Sales team to be able to open Configurator for an ordered item after the item has been shipped. I think the only way to do this would be to save all old Bills for the product and the old UIs. For us, I don't this this would be reasonable. Has anyone had a request similar to this? Thanks, Margot
Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2. I'm not sure of our Configurator level.
