Customer Alert: Oracle HRMS (South African) - Problems with the Medical Aid Credit Calculation

Dear Customer,

We are currently in the process of fixing an error that was identified in the processing of medical tax credits for South Africa Payroll. This error causes the tax credits used amount to accumulate incorrectly from the second period of the current tax year onwards. The error has necessitated the re-working of the medical tax credits part of the tax calculation.

We are working on the fix with the highest priority and will be delivering the solution as soon as possible through BUG 13777759 - PROBLEMS WITH THE MEDICAL AID CREDIT CALCULATION. We do apologize for the inconvenience caused.
