Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. static database still producing archive log - why

we have a database that should be readonly. Not readonly startup, but just no new data going in.

it is generating lots of archive log. Should i expect it to generate very little archive log? what could be causing all that archive log?

os: windows server 2003 r2 x32

db: 10.2.0.3
