character set error on etext template

When trying to test our etext template we receive the error above.  Value of character set is iso-8859-1 and we cannot find any other values to try in the documentation.  Is this a true error or simply an error message that is displayed when it cannot process the template for a different reason.  I will try to upload our template and xml file.
