promotion not tied to sales
I saw the following question asked a couple of years ago and wanted to ask it again with a little more detail from my situation. I would appreciate it if anyone has suggestions. "We need to create an offer that is based on promotion activities that are done by our customers. It should not be based on any sales orders. How can we do that?"
In my scenario a trade promotion has many potential activities and not all of them need to be tied to a sales order. As examples, a demo product given to a retailer or promotions to aid retailers in selling older, in stock product that had never been part of a promotion.
