Can we apply an Any SIgn Transaction Type attached to an Invoice Class against an Invoice?

I have a couple of Credit Memos that were created as Any Sign Invoice.The reason being that thsi way the Unearned Revenue can be deferred accounted as Unearned Revenue cannot be accounted for under a Credit Memo. We cannot apply this Credit Memo since it is labled as Invoioce.

How can we apply this?
