Making the Flash Cache work on 11.2.0.3 on Oracle Enterprise Linux

 Hello all

I am trying to make the Flash Cache work on Oracle 11.2.0.3 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.2. Whatever I try to do with Db_flash_cache_file and Db_flash_cache_size results in  ORA-00439: feature not enabled: Server Flash Cache.

One of Greg Rahns older posts on structureddata.org indicates that a patch is needed: patch 8974084 – META BUG FOR FLASH CACHE 11.2PL BUGS TO BACKPORT TO 11.2.0.1 OEL. However, it seems this patch is for 11.2.0.1. I can't really find anoter patch for 11.2.0.3 on support.oracle.com. 

Any ideas on how to proceed?
