Archive log backups

We take Level 0 backup on Sunday , Level 1 on Thursday and rest are level 2 backups. We have manual standby database on different system ( archives automatically transferred to that box).  We use controlfile as the recovery catalog and the retention policy is 30 days ( recovery window of 30days).

My Database version is 11.2.0.1 on Windows 2008.

We use following RMAN script to backup / purge the archive logs for all Level 0/1/2 backups ...

SQL 'ALTER SYSTEM ARCHIVE LOG CURRENT';
BACKUP AS COMPRESSED backupset archivelog all NOT BACKED UP 1 TIMES;
DELETE NOPROMPT ARCHIVELOG ALL BACKED UP 2 TIMES TO DEVICE TYPE DISK;
Report Obsolete;
Delete noprompt expired backup;
delete noprompt obsolete;
