Restore RMAN CATALOG in the controlfile

information:

RDBMS: RAC 10.2.0.4, 5 nodes.

SINGLE RMAN CATALOG: 10.2.0.4

 

My BACKUP RMAN RETENTION POLICY is TO REDUNDANCY 1;

 

Situation:

February 27: was executed this commands:

CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO RECOVERY WINDOW OF 3 DAYS;

DELETE NOPROMPT OBSOLETE RECOVERY WINDOW OF 3 DAYS;

 

the result was:

the RMAN catalog registers were erased

 

In possession, i have a catalog backup and the restore before February 29th is possible by recataloging piece by piece of the backup.

 

Could I restore de entire catalog in the controlfile?
