Hi all,

DB version is 11.2.0.2. Three node RAC. In a instance value of parameter parallel_max_server is 48. Number of cpus is 24 and threads 2, pga > 0.

Is that parallel_max_server calculated by database like degree of parallelism as cpu_count * threads = 24*2=48

How is that value 48 calculated by database?
