valid Item-warehouse combinatin

i have setup a new Order type; while defining the Sales Order and save the following message appears;

The item specified is invalid or does not exist in the warehouse you specified. Please enter a valid item-warehouse combination

when i try to remove the warehouse and save the record, the following message appears...

'Scheduling failed.

No APS instance defined. Set APS instance and run collections'

and the sales order is booked

kindly help out
