Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Why I can put an item to Item Status: Inactive, even though I have on-Hand quantities on the Item?

Hello group,

Could you tell me why I am able to change the Item Status to Inactive on an Item that I have on-hand quantity?

This should be standard functionality, but it does not work as explained.

We are on Oracle 11i 5.10.
