Oracle edition

I am not sure if this is the right place to post the question. But anyway, back in the days with oracle 8, there were personal editions that doesn't require license and we can have it installed on our computer and play with it. With the newer version, is there still something like this? If so, what is it called? Please advice. Thanks.
