How to perform an in-place upgrade of the Linux OS on Oracle RAC 11gR2

Our management wants my SA to perform an in place upgrade of our Linux OS on our existing Oracle 11gR2 cluster database servers.  We are using RAC with ASM (ASMLib) and OCFS2 (1.2) on fibre channel.  We would be upgrading from RHEL 4 to RHEL 5 and are wondering what Oracles recommendations are for an in place upgrade of the OS.  Is this supported and if so do you have any documentation on this process?
