Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. What is the best way to limit the format of phone field?

Version 11i

Curently our phone number field in customer standard contacts is free form. We would like to restrict it to a standard format of (123)123-1234

What is the best way to accomplish this?
