extend the local whole root zone's root file system

Hi,

I need to extend the root file system for a local whole root zone using SVM on Solaris 10 sparc servers running Sun cluster 3.1u4. The this local zone is controlled by the cluster as a resource.  Do I need to offline the zone in order to extend it's root file system, or I can extend it when the zone is up runing?

Appreciate any feedback.
