Data Migration - Events in FAH

Hello,

I've posted this in Financials Intelligence but it may in fact be something for GL:

Has anyone here got any experience in migrating data from a legacy ledger through FAH, and have an understanding of what business events need to be in place to appropriately transfer this historical data over to the GL within E-Business Suite?

If so, what experience do you have, and how did you you go about this?
