Database Backup and Recovery (MOSC)

Restore database from snapshot backup.

In a production environment I have a database with files stored on a Netapp FAS6090 storage. Weekly I use the snapshot feature of storage to create a database backup.My questions are:
When I use these files to recover the database will need a special procedure to open the database?
You can apply archives after opening the database?
I shall to run commands "begin backup" before the snapshot backup  and "end backup" after? (I don't do it)
