Exadata Components Paswords

Can anyone who monitors Exadata Components please tell me if after the initial discovery, do they continue to have the passwords?  We recently has an issue with cell metrics not collecting and we need to re-establish ssh equivalency between the agent and the cellmonitor.  My concern is that the Field Rep is changing these passwords and if I have issues I'll not have them to fix possible agent issues
