Database Corruption

Hello Guys

We have got database corruption scenario. Is there a way to recover the database. Bellow are the errors we get in the alert log which we are getting after recovery.. Any help to recover the database would really help.

ORA-279 signalled during: ALTER DATABASE RECOVER  database using BACKUP CONTROLFILE  ...
